Thokar Naiz Baig, Lahore is under the constant flux of rapid commercialization. The Land use of the concerned site has observed a dramatic shift in past few years where the gentrification and commercialization of residential and agrarian land has altered the cartography of Thokar Naiz Baig. The context of the site has further been tailored by the introduction of mega infrastructure projects such as road widening, bridges, metro and orange line.

Amid this chaos fuelled by commercialization, the key challenge faced by Architoqrue was to craft an edifice which can establish and retain its identify in a context subjected to constant change. From the vertical juxtaposition of activities within the buildings floors to the form progression and selection & application of materials in construction phase, the above mentioned challenge has been addressed and projected through every phase of design and its materialization.
